I miss NYC, but I do love LA.

  • Me: I love eating outside at restaurants.
  • Wilson: I eat outside all the time.
  • Me: Foreseeably, you can eat outside every day, all year round.
  • Wilson: Yup.
  • Me: It's like a novelty back east.
  • Wilson: Not a novelty here. It's our way of life.

Started the day with a hike in Runyon Canyon Park (beautiful views), ate lunch at Lala’s (delicious Argentine food), and checked out a couple of sneaker stores and a pretty rad vintage shop (Jet Rag).  Drinks soon and maybe some Rock Band, dinner’s at 9p, and then we’re checking out a show downtown.  The weather is fantastic and the day so far has been glorious.

This might be the Saturday ever.

I’m heading out to LA for work this weekend and will be there through next Wednesday. My friends and I are checking out The Gray Kid Saturday night at the RedWood Bar. The bar has some sort of pirate thing going on. This could be awesome.

RedWood is great, but R-Bar is where it’s at. You need a password to get in the door though. The place is awesome and pirate themed too!

Thanks man - I’ll try to check it out!  Passwords and pirates.  Intense.
