mascarah: (via adeandabet thephenthouse) Joe’s Shanghai does have amazing soup dumplings (life-changing, even). Agreed. Joe’s Shanghai is simply delicious. Absolutely.  And yes, they are definitely life-changing.

Roy Roger’s vs. Arby’s.  Both have delicious roast beef sandwiches.  Roy’s has the Fixin’s Bar, but Arby’s has the Arby-Q.  The scrumptious Arby-Q.  Honestly, I could go for either now.  I’m starving.

Yesterday we scouted Carnegie Hall for a project we’re working on.  Walking into the empty space was magical.  All of us were completely overwhelmed by it’s majesty and magnificence.  The Carnegie staff spoke of the hall as if it was an old friend.  One who is greatly revered and respected.  It’s a good thing I didn’t trip on the carpeting, stumble on a step, or walk into a...

Sometimes I wish I could rewind my life.  This would be incredibly useful after moments when I think I messed up.  Truthfully, most of these thoughts are products of my own insanity, but it would be nice to see that everything is alright.  Otherwise I’m thinking about what happened until the next day.  TiVo should get on this.  The remote control doesn’t have to be all Adam Sandler bad...

Socks are cool. Argyle socks, striped socks, red socks, baseball socks…I even thought Socks the Cat was rad. I dig ‘em all. Except for wet socks. They make your feet cold.

Somebody just played Midnight Train to Georgia in the bar downstairs.  Why?  Probably because it’s just past midnight.  Sure, it’s a good tune, but if Gladys were down there I think she’d knock out the dude who played it with a swift kick to his nose.

A banana would make an exceptional weapon.  To use, throw one at your target like a boomerang.  Upon its return, eat the banana-rang, toss the remnants on the ground, and watch as your enemies slip on the peel.  Your enemies will fall to their doom while you load up on potassium.

I had the most insane dream last night.  It was one of those dreams where I woke up, may have still been dreaming, went back to sleep, and continued dreaming exactly where I left off.  I don’t exactly remember what my dream was about but it was intense and a little terrifying.  Even though it felt incredibly real I don’t remember seeing in HD. The picture was in lush technicolor.  The...

Today was a good day for multiple reasons.  Here are two: We premiered a new show. We celebrated the premiere with free pizza at lunch. A very good day.  And with that, Happy Australia Day!  Happy Chinese New Year!  And last, but not least, Happy Monday!

Today is my one year tumblr anniversary.  I guess I should celebrate or something.  It’s too bad I don’t have any ice cream or champagne in my apartment.  I could go downstairs and grab a beer, but it’s too cold outside.  And I’m very comfortable on my couch.  You know, I did have a mini banana cupcake earlier so that should do it.  It was quite tasty.  Hooray!

Thoughts on soup in a bread bowl.  Combining two of my favorite foods, soup and sandwiches, the soup in a bread bowl can be quite delightful.  It’s kind of like ordering soup and a sandwich, but what you’re actually getting is soup in a sandwich.  Or maybe more like a soup sandwich.  Either way, if you top the soup with bacon you will be golden.  A dream meal?  Corn chowder topped with...

During the week a building in Times Square has bells that ring Give My Regards to Broadway at around 7:45p.  The building is near my office - the bells feel as though they are right outside my office window.  I feel like this would be a pleasant bell tone to wake up to in the morning.  Instead it reminds me that I’m often at work till around 8p.  To turn this into a happy sound, the next...

The We Are One concert yesterday was amazing. The talent lineup for both performers and readers was quite impressive. We got there around 1p and got a lot closer to the Memorial than we thought we would. So many great moments and it wasn’t that cold out (until we left of course). It was interesting that the airspace above the site wasn’t completely restricted. All through the show...

I’m currently between naps on the ride to DC.  Happily, the Megabus ride has been good!  I got a little work done and learned new and fun ways to fall asleep while seated on a bus.  Sitting on the upper deck is the way to go.  It almost feels like you’re on an amusement park ride.  But instead of passing lots of lush trees and animatronic animals, we rode by lots of wintery, leafless...
